Assalaamu 'alaykum,

Commenting on the recent speech by W, Daniel Pipes is cheering that the enemy is finally "radical Islam" and not "terrorism:"

The last sentence is important: he understands that ultimately there is a mismatch between the US constitution and the way of God. Do we?

When you read the text of the article, I feel that Pres. Bush has the clearest views on this subject. There are no differences between the US Constitution and the word of Allah. Instead, there are differences between the US and those who would exploit all we hold dear to commit acts of terror. I believe that these people would be terrorists no matter what they believed. They could be Christians or Jews and find some way to exploit the religion to "authorize" their terrorism.
