Sundays at 2 pm and 5:30 pm



Join us for weekly Sunday halaqas, service projects, and social events as we support each other and grow as Muslims.


Separate groups for brothers and sisters.



Madrasatul Qayyum Sunday School



Sundays from 10 am - 1:45 pm



Designed to meet the needs of children in K-6th grade. Seven levels of study are offered. Successful completion of one level should adequately prepare students for the next. Studies in Islamic Studies (Fiqh, Ibadah, Aqidah, Adab, Tawheed); Islamic History (History of the Prophets and Caliphs); and Qur'anic Studies/Qur'anic Arabic (Memorization, Tafsir, Tajweed).

Wednesdays after Maghrib



A brothers' weekly halaqa focusing on improving recitation and pronunciation of the Qur'an. All levels welcome; all brothers welcome.



Sisters Friday Halaqa



Fridays after Isha



A sisters' weekly halaqa on a variety of Islamic topics. Each halaqa is led by a sister who volunteers her time to prepare and present on a theme of her choice. Halaqas are given in Arabic with English support as well as English with Arabic support depending on the sister leading. All sisters welcome.



Sisters Self-defense Class



Once/semester



We host this session once a semester to help refresh old skills and teach new ones. The goal of these classes is to help our sisters be safe and prepared. Our instructor is Eleanor Hitchings, a former employee of Monroe County Martial Arts and black belt in Tae Kwan Do. We ask for a voluntary donation of $5/class for our instructor's time.

IDO Food Distribution



Thursdays after Maghrib



The International Development Organization (IDO), founded by a member of our Center, brings free food to distribute to the community every Thursday evening. The food comes from area stores (like Kroger and Panera) and is available to any who may need it. Please come and help yourself.

Interested in knowing what Islam is? Curious about the 2nd most popular religion in the world? Come to our informal mini-lecture and Q+A session to learn more! To request a class, please email contact@icob.org. All are welcome, and please stay afterward to join in our monthly potluck!



Monthly Potluck Dinner



First Fridays of the month at 7 pm



Join us to share some food and fun! Please bring a meal to share separated into two dishes (one for each line). This program is open to both masjid members and anyone in the Bloomington community that would like to join us! If this will be your first potluck, please email contact@icob.org to let us know you're coming - this will help us welcome you!
